Teams a big help

The team of 15 from Winkler had a safe trip into Haiti on the 7th. By the time we got out of the airport and back to Jacmel it was late. We took out tap-tap to pick them up. It was a real Haitian experience. The team sang most all the way through the mountains. It was awesome. The rooms got mixed up but all worked out. Jules team taking photo's of the children and gathering information and have been very busy with over 200 entries today. We are asking the children their favorite color, how many brothers and sister they have, if they have a Mom & Dad and what they want to be when they grow up. We get some very interesting answers as many have never had a chance to dream about what they want to be when they grow up. With an education they have a chance to be whatever they want to be.

The team from Winkler helped haul 200 trees that we are planting at our Chabin location. There are cocoa nuts trees, mango, grape fruit, & papaya trees. Everyone is exhausted from the climb to the field we were working in but everyone is happy. We hope to plant over a thousand trees on this location over the next year to help with the feeding of the children.

Everyone is doing great. We will be back in the Chabin school on the 9th preparing for the painting of the schools and finishing up the pictures.

The Mayor of Jacmel will be attending with us to Chabin to plant a tree and talk to the people and children of the region. He is very happy about the 425 children that we are supporting at our Chabin school and the 180 children at our Jacmel school. These are both in his region and we have received much favor from him.

Thank you to each of you that are able to help financially. The need is still huge. A dollar goes a long way down here. Please keep us in mind for any further contributions to help some of the neediest people of the world.
