HELPING HAND !!!

As I look at this picture of a little boy hold my hand the first though was lending a helping hand.... After looking at it for some time my question is who is helping who. Yes, by the grace of God we are able to make a huge difference in the lives of these precious children but in return they bring us so much joy... so the thought is who is helping who.... what a honor to have this opportunity.... thanks for being part of making a difference .... one child at a time....

Here is a picture of Joanne and Rebecca holding two of the orphans. They will be staying till the middle of Dec. to help out at our Jacmel orphanage.
The orphanage has 27 children and is called "Little Angels of Jacmel."

ORPHANAGE PROJECT JACMEL

The team is making great progress on the orphange in Jacmel. This will be home to 27 orphange from this area. The registered name of the orphanage will be called "Little Angels of Jacmel" .. Top left picture shows Henry spraying the primer coat on the outside of the home while some of the other team are putting a coat of paint on the inside...

On Saturday the team got a chance to go to the market in Jacmel. Here are just a few shots of our malls down here....

Church service at our Jacmel location

I had the honor to bring the congrégation the message on Sunday morning at our Jacmel location with Pastor Wilbert Placide and his Christian Evangelical Church of Haiti.

Bible School Graduation

Saturday evening we had our Bible School graduation with 19 grads. They completed a two years of training. We are partnered with I.S.O.M. (International School Of Ministry) with our Bible Schools. This is one of 3 schools that we have partnered with. The other two are in PAP and Thiotte. Congratulations graduates!!!

Orphanage project getting a coat of paint...

The work is well on the way with the painting inside and out. With the paint gun that was donated it makes the job go much quicker. Trim will be in white and a burn orange.

First day in the field.

Here is a picture of the team from Winkler along with myself, Pastor Placide and Nel. We are on top of the orphange and just above Henry's hat is the mountain in the background where our Chabin school is located. Everyone is doing great....

Arrived in Jacmel Tuesday night

Just a short note to say the team arrived safe and are settled into the mission house in Jacmel. Watch for pictures and updates.....

GMC TO HAITI ON SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP

Henry and his team from Winkler will be travelling to Haiti with me on Monday arriving Tuesday the 20th. Some of the team is staying 2 weeks, others 3 weeks and two of the girls will be staying 2 mons. helping at our orphanage. We return on the 11th of Nov.
Most of the work will be done at the orphanage needing some finishing touches with painting and some construction.

We still have need for babies cloths and for children up to the age of 5.

****_We are in need of school books for 800 of the children. Cost is $6.50 for each child the books they will need for the whole school year._****

I will be speaking in Pangman and Ogama, Sask. on the 15th. of Nov.

I will be speaking in Neilberg, Sask. on the 22nd. of Nov.

I return to Haiti on the 30th of Nov. and have room for those interested in going on a short term mission trip. I return to Canada on the 15th of Dec. ... Contact me if your interested or if you have any questions....
