On my return from my Uncles funeral I got word of a friend that died in Brooks which is about an hours drive from here... he was far too young.. he was a great guy... I hope that is it for funerals for a long time...

I wish I had good news to share about our containers that are in Port au Prince on the docks waiting for clearance from Customs... they were going to have it cleared up weeks ago but still nothing... when these things happen they are hoping for bribes from us to get them cleared but we won't go that route... we are now working directly with the Minister of Customs ... sure hope this works... with the elections of Haiti happening at the end of Nov. it is even harder to get anything done through the government as everyone is on the campaign trail and others don't know if they will have a job after the elections... I will post as soon as I get word of the release of the containers and the charges they will demand for them... these are the containers from Winkler, Medicine Hat and Minneapolis...

I will post again next week to give an update on the schools and where we are with the fund raising in hopes to support all the schools...
